What is epgonline.org?

EPGOnline.org is a medicines (pharmaceutical drug), disease and treatment knowledge base. A reference source and decision support tool giving doctors, physicians and other healthcare professionals free access to drug databases, diagnosis and treatment tools, clinical guidelines and medical news.

The term 'EPG' refers to the European Prescriber Guide software application launched in 2000 and superseded by the web knowledge base 'EPG Online' in 2003. 

EPGOnline.org publishes in excess of 110,000 pages of clinical, diagnostic and treatment reference material across all major medical specialties. Content includes prescription drug information, patient management guidance, a disease knowledge library, options for treatment, daily medical news, reference and decision support tools for GPs, specialists and other healthcare professionals. Content can be found using a text based search tool that provides categorised results.

Our aim is to provide healthcare professionals with a range of relevant  clinical reference sources, tools and data to assist in the provision of high quality care, ultimately connecting patients with the correct and best possible treatment.

How is epgonline.org used?

To search EPG for medical or drug information, enter your search term in the search box located on all screens. The search tool allows you to search for any medical or drug related term, including drug name (brand, generic or scientific), disease or condition. The search results page will display related information from various sources, including the drug database, disease knowledge centres and news stories.

EPG is presented in English with - by default - drug information for the United Kingdom. Content is also available for local markets such as the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Spain and Sweden with some information available in local languages and with national drug labeling.
 
EPG is compliant with major internet browsers, a mobile version of the drug data is also available for mobile devices.

Through providing this important information in one easy to navigate resource, our aim is to connect the medical community with the correct and best possible treatment plans for patients.
