Presentation :

Tablets, captopril 50mg, hydrochlorothiazide 25mg.

Indications :

Mild to moderate hypertension in patients who have been stabilised on the individual components in the same proportions.

Adult Dosage :

One daily; maximum two daily.

Child Dosage :

Not recommended.

Contra Indications :

Anuria
aortic stenosis
outflow obstruction
Pregnancy
lactation.

Special Precautions :

Haemodialysis
Renal impairment; monitor renal function, white cell count and urinary protein before and during therapy.
Monitor serum electrolytes.
Collagen vascular disease, anaesthesia, diabetes, hepatic impairment, gout.
