Powder.
Yellow fever virus at least 1000 mouse LD units per 0 .5 mL dose.
Active immunisation against yellow fever.
Single 0.5 mL dose by subcutaneous injection.
Over 9 months, single 0.5 mL dose by subcutaneous injection.
Acute febrile illness, impaired immunity, symptomatic or asymptomatic HIV positive patients, hypersensitivity to eggs or chick protein. Pregnancy.
Acute infections.
Injection site reactions, headache, myalgia, low-grade fever. Rarely encephalitis, allergic reactions.
