Drug description :

Orange capsule coded LEDERLE 4874.

Presentation :

Capsules, tetracycline hydrochloride 250 mg .

Indications :

Acne.

Adult Dosage :

One four times daily.

Child Dosage :

Not recommended.

Contra Indications :

Pregnancy, lactation. SLE.

Special Precautions :

Renal or hepatic impairment.

Interactions :

  • Milk
  • antacids
  • mineral supplements
  • oral contraceptives
  • penicillins
  • anticoagulants.

Adverse Reactions :

  • GI disturbances
  • allergic reactions
  • superinfections
  • Intracranial hypertension (withdraw).
