Antiemeticos uso general

Drug description :

JARABE

Presentation :

Oral. Adultos: 10 mg/8 horas.

Indications :

Autorizadas en España: Náuseas y vómitos por quimioterapia ligeramente ematógena, radioterapia o durante el postoperatorio.

Síndrome de Meniere. Vértigo.

Interactions :

Los depresores de SNC (ej: alcohol, barbitúricos) puede aumentar su efecto sedante.

Adverse Reactions :

Los efectos adversos de metopimazina son, en general, leves y transitorios. En la mayor parte de los casos, las reacciones adversas son una prolongación de la acción farmacológica y afectan principalmente al sistema nervioso central.

Las reacciones adversas más características son:

-Ocasionalmente (1-9%): somnolencia, sequedad de boca, estreñimiento, midriasis, visión borrosa, trastornos de la acomodación, confusión, insomnio.

-Raramente (<1%): retención urinaria, astenia, taquicardia, hipotensión ortostática, urticaria.
