Vitamina b1

Drug description :

GRAGEAS

Presentation :

Adultos: -Suplemento dietético: 1-2 mg/día (oral). -Deficiencia inducida por alcohol: 40 mg/día (oral). -Neuritis del embarazo: 5-10 mg/día. -Beriberi (casos críticos): hasta 100 mg/8 horas (im o iv lenta), seguido de la administración oral. Niños: -Beriberi (casos críticos): 10-25 mg (im o iv lenta). -Suplemento dietético: 0.5-1 mg/día.

Indications :

Autorizadas en España: Profilaxis y tratamiento de estados carenciales de tiamina (vitamina B1), tal como puede ocurrir por: dieta inadecuada, malabsorción, neuritis del embarazo, polineuritis alcohólica, hipertiroidismo, quemaduras, etc. La deficiencia de tiamina puede originar beriberi.

Child Dosage :

Las necesidades diarias varían según la edad.

Elderly Dosage :

Los pacientes geriátricos pueden tener alterados los niveles de tiamina, por lo que pueden necesitar suplementos.

Adverse Reactions :

Los efectos adversos de tiamina son, en general, leves y transitorios. El perfil de seguridad de este fármaco es similar al del resto de vitaminas B1.

Las reacciones adversas más características son:

-Excepcionalmente (<<1%): reacciones alérgicas (prurito, urticaria, angioedema), sudoración, náuseas, agitación, edema pulmonar, cianosis y colapso. Dolor en el punto de inyección im e induración.
