Dr Evans has been a Women's Health Specialist for the last 17 years. Her particular interests are the perimenopause, mid-life contraception and hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and postmenopausal problems. Having also worked extensively in the field of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), she now runs a fully integrated service as Medical Director of Brook, Bristol. A member of the European Society of Contraception, and a founder member of the British Menopausal Society, she lectures both nationally and internationally. She is extensively involved in liaison with the media to improve the accuracy of women's health information.
