To investigate the effect of Levitra on duration of erection 2 studies have been conducted using a stopwatch method. The stopwatch results were defined from “Time from erection perceived hard enough for penetration (start stopwatch) until withdrawal from the partner’s vagina leading to successful intercourse as measured by SEP3 (stop stopwatch)”
The time was measured and recorded in a patient diary.
This approach provides an objective and quantitative measure of efficacy.
In these two independent studies Levitra has been shown to increase duration of erection by 2 to 3 times compared to placebo.
