Levitra - PERT

To investigate the post-ejaculation refractory time (PERT) which is the time between an initial erection and ejaculation and the next sexual activity a study in 46 men treated with Levitra was conducted.

Following an initial erection and ejaculation, successful base erection was achieved upon visual sexual stimulation (VSS) at 30 minutes post-ejaculation by 69% of men receiving Levitra 10mg, 79% of those receiving 20mg and 31% of those receiving placebo.

Levitra was associated with longer duration of erection than placebo during four post-ejaculation sessions of VSS; a dose response was observed.1
