MIRCERA

Features and Benefits

MIRCERA is a continuous erythropoietin receptor activator (C.E.R.A) and is the first approved, chemically synthesised erythropoiesis-stimulating agent (ESA). MIRCERA, is indicated for the treatment of anaemia associated with chronic kidney disease in patients on dialysis and patients not on dialysis. It is functionally and structurally different to other erythropoiesis-stimulating agents and provides a smooth and steady rise in haemoglobin levels which allows clinicians to safely and effectively correct anaemia.

MIRCERA provides stable and sustained haemoglobin levels during maintenance therapy with once-monthly dosing in all CKD patients. MIRCERA not only maintains Hb stability that is required for all CKD patients, but once-monthly dosing during the maintenance phase of treatment can also save healthcare professionals and their staff precious time so they can focus on other aspects of patient care.
